As a recent Gallup Poll revealed, 52% of workers are "not engaged".

They are psychologically unattached to their work and company. They put time, but not energy or passion, into their work. Not engaged employees will usually show up to work and contribute the minimum required. They're also on the lookout for better employment opportunities and will quickly leave their company for a slightly better offer.

With 48% of underutilized employees,  companies are spending a lot more money on their workforce than necessary. 

A lack of employee engagement is often overlooked by the top leadership of a company.  As long, as the company is profitable, the problem is not addressed. 

Disengaged employees also slow down the growth potential of a company.  Finding fully engaged talent has become a big challenge for companies.

Raising the level of engagement within the existing work force is the least expensive and often the only option. 

Increased engagement raises the productive input of the employees.  It also frees up management from having to micromanage employees.
